Re: Staff Picks |
It is just sporadic. This possibly is a good kick-in-the-pants to clear them out and have some fresh picks go up there. Any good ones you think deserve to be up there?
usually an admin will pick a handfull they like and they sit up there till 'too long' has happened and then we clear them out and put fresh ones up.
I try and freshen them up once a month or two but that leads to becoming 3, 4, 6, etc months :) it always seems to end up back burner..
good to see chops11 there too! :)

Re: Staff Picks |
Thanks for the explanation, Tyler. Here's what I wrote in response to Chops 11 comment:
Thanks for your response. I understand that due to the large number of shows here and the time involved listening to even a portion of them, it's a tall order to keep the list current and up to date. Do I have a request? Sure do. There are 3 recent recordings of Alejandro Escovedo from Chicago. One is from Schuba's and the other two are the early and late shows from the Old Town School Of Folk. The matrix recordings are some of the best I've ever heard and the performances are really top drawer. Hard to imagine anyone not liking them given a point in the right direction. Also, just noticed that there's a recording of Escovedo at Bonnaroo that was just posted as well. Give them a listen and see what you think. Again, thanks for your response. LMA is the best!
